In 1978 the music world was turned on its ear by the arrival of a new guitar style which
introduced the world to finger tapping, divebombs, squealing harmonics and ushered in a whole new era of rock
guitar playing.
As a part of Exlusive’s “Legendary Axes” series we pay homage to that time in history with a
special Exlusive guitar that accurately reproduces that point in time.
The Eruption sports for example a hard ash body, 21 frets neck with brass nut and a Seymour Duncan
“Custom ‘78”, "slant" mounted in the exact position along the scale of the original to capture all the harmonics
and details of the famous “brown sound”.
A new design neck heel allows total access to the last frets. The neck is
tightened with 5 screws thus delivering the best tone transmission.
Great care is put in the neck pocket fitting. A tight fit neck joint is indeed very important for the strings'
vibration to finely transmit the wood tone to the from the nut to the bridge and to the pickups.
The neck is the most wooden crucial point in the electric guitars tone chain. All Exlusive instruments' necks are made of resonant
hard rock maple coming from Canada and are satin finished to offer a very smooth and fast feel.

Professionally slotted and refined brass nut.
The Eruption features the original Seymour Duncan “Custom ‘78” humbucker, mounted in the exact position along the scale of the original
to capture all the harmonics and details of the famous “brown sound”.
Minimum signal path means greater tone. The Eruption features only one volume control placed in middle tone position on the pickguard.
The Eruption is equipped with the new vintage WV6 Wilkinson tremolo. The strings are sunken into the sustain block with the ball end
getting as close as possible to the bridge plate and saddle.
This, along with the use of a precisely slotted brass nut,
roller string tree and staggered locking tuners, dramatically increases strings and tuning stability when tremolo
is in use. The saddles are kept stable in place by the massive bridge structure and the sustain block
is steel made in the best "vintage" tradition.

The Eruption is equipped with a set of new Frudua locking tuners. Frudua locking tuners gathers all the most high end
locking tuners features in the market all in just one item. 20:1 gear ratio, comfortable and immediate to use rear locking design and 2+2+2
staggered height posts, meaning that the E and B posts are lower than the G and D posts which are lower than the A and low E posts.
This allows the proper nut angle and lowest friction on nut. They are also available for you as a replacement part for your guitar.
